Ayub Ali, M.Sc. in Eng.

Assistant Professor, Department of Textile Engineering, DUET, Gazipur

Ayub Ali is serving as an Assistant Professor in the department of textile engineering at DUET. Before joining here as a lecturer, he worked in apparel industry and private university for more than 3 years. Mr. Ali completed bachelor in textile engineering with major in apparel manufacturing engineering in the year of 2014 securing 1st position and achieved prime minister & president gold medal in the year of 2014 and 2018 respectively for outstanding results. He also received Dean's award in the year of 2012 and 2013 respectively. In the year of 2019, he completed M.Sc in textile engineering from DUET conducting research on electrospun nanofibers. His key research and publications include the development and applications of electrospun nanofibers in solving various problems of textiles especially for medical textiles. His current research interests include protective textiles, materials science and apparel merchandising.
